Primal and Unhinged: Do All Men Rape? A Deeper Look into the 'Rape Gene'

Let's be real with this conversation. Some of you might not be prepared for this topic, and that's perfectly fine. But it’s one that demands a hard look, an honest diagnosis, and a brave point of view. The topic of the day is "Rape," and more specifically—Why men rape? Before we dive deep into the psyche and the shadows, let's lay down the groundwork.

Defining the Indefensible: What Constitutes Rape?

To ensure we're all on the same page, let's start with the definitions. Understanding the legal and widely accepted parameters of sexual violence is crucial before we interrogate its roots.

The U.S. Department of Justice offers a clear legal definition: "The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim." (Source: justice.gov)

Wikipedia elaborates, stating: "Rape is a type of sexual assault involving sexual intercourse, or other forms of sexual penetration, carried out against a person without their consent. The act may be carried out by physical force, coercion, abuse of authority, or against a person who is incapable of giving valid consent, such as one who is unconscious, incapacitated, has an intellectual disability, or is below the legal age of consent (statutory rape)." (Source: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape)

So, with these definitions firmly in mind, we understand rape to mean taking sex by force and fear or any form of penetration without consent – rendering it unequivocally nonconsensual. Now that we've set that baseline, let's truly dive into the provocative heart of the matter.

Challenging the Official Narrative: Is There a 'Rape Gene' in Men?

For quite some time now, I've been posing the question: Do all men possess a "rape gene"? I know, I know. Mainstream science, with its sheltered data and often politically convenient narratives, would have us believe otherwise. But let's be honest, data can be painted, narratives can be spun, and statistics can be doctored 24/7. There's no ironclad proof that official data, whether from scientists, doctors, or government officials, isn't carefully curated to present a picture they specifically designed.

So, I pressed the question again: Is there truly a rape gene in men?

The most effective way for me to begin exploring this was to look inward, to take a deeper look at a man's psyche by analyzing myself. I asked myself three very raw, very honest questions:

Do I gravitate towards hardcore or rough porn where a person is aggressively taken control of?

Have I ever felt a physical stir, a turn-on, during a rape sex scene in a movie?

Have I ever secretly, in the quiet corners of my mind, thought about "taking some pussy or ass"?

The answer to all three, if I'm being brutally honest and analyzing every aspect of my brain, was yes, in some form or another.

From Personal Truth to Collective Shadow Work: My Unofficial Survey

This personal introspection sparked a wider inquiry. I posed these same three questions to a few of my close buddies, and to my surprise (or perhaps, not so much), they all answered yes to all three as well. This wasn't enough, though. To truly dig into the dark side of men, I needed a broader sample, a real-world survey on rape.

I took these questions to men from different walks of life, across various ethnicities. I surveyed and collected data from over 2,200 men found in Facebook groups, Reddit forums, Quora, and other online communities. I even took it to the streets, engaging men who I felt would give an honest answer. These men ranged from mixed backgrounds, White, Black, Indian, Asian, Latin, and other ethnicities. Out of the 2,200 men, a staggering 1,789 of them stated yes to all three questions. The remaining respondents stated yes to the first two but were unsure about the third, or hadn't consciously reflected on it.

Imagine for a moment if these questions were posed to an even higher quality, more diverse sample of men from myriad countries and states across the globe. I would venture to imagine that such results would blow corrupt government data right out of the water, revealing a truth far more profound and uncomfortable than any official report.

The Primal Beast Within: Understanding, Not Excusing

So, based on my findings and my unfiltered street intelligence combined with an educated approach to analyzing data in rape cases, here’s my bold assertion: In my opinion, all men have the rape gene. I believe I have backed up my claim with a raw, ground-level assessment.

Now, let me be crystal clear. I am not saying that because we possess this gene—this primal predisposition—that we will go out raping men or women, whatever your sexual preference may be. What I am saying is that we, as men, absolutely must take a deeper look at our dark side. We must acknowledge and realize what primal beast lies within us. This isn't about running from it; it's about truly understanding and, dare I say, nourishing who we are in our entirety, to comprehend our darker or suppressed desires.

This is part one of this essential, perhaps uncomfortable, topic. I promise to bring you part two when the time is right, as we continue this journey of sexual exploration and self-awareness beyond the confines of traditional masculinity. For now, I've opened this discussion to my fellow sapiosexuals and truth-seekers. The debate is now on the table.
